Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Winter Art Club
In this class, our youngest Petite Artists will engage in a variety of projects focusing on exploration and designed to foster a love for the creative process. These exploratory lessons are inspired by nature, books, and art history and will empower students with opportunities to make unique choices in their artwork. Learn and experience how artists work together, care for materials, and dive deeply into their own paths of explorative art-making!

3rd - 5th Grade Winter Art Club
How do artists use the world around them to inspire and create their artwork? Join us in the studio to discover a wide range of art-making techniques and creative opportunities to enrich artistic development. In the studio, Petite artists are inspired to reflect on their own experiences, observations, and interests and use their creative processes to turn their unique ideas visual. Techniques will be demonstrated during class, and Petite Artists are always encouraged to further experiment with a range of materials to express their ideas!

Teen Winter Art Club
Artists in grades 6th-8th are invited to the studio for a variety of art-making experiences and technique demonstrations. Art lessons are designed for students to reflect on nature, emotion, identity, and community to create unique and personally significant artworks. Here, we will learn about both historical and contemporary artists to gain an understanding of the purpose of art in our culture. Connect with other artists and dive deeply into your own unique creative processes alongside other creative individuals!

Pre-K Art Class
Welcome to DoodleWorms — an art class thoughtfully designed for pre-k children preparing for kindergarten! Each week, we’ll read one of our favorite children’s book and use its themes to explore a variety of art mediums like painting, printmaking, and collage to strengthen fine motor skills essential for writing. In a warm, supportive setting, they’ll practice sharing, taking turns, and making new friends. DoodleWorms is the perfect blend of art, storytelling, and kindergarten readiness!

Clay Exploration: K-5th grade
Get ready for a creative adventure in our 3-week hands-on pottery class! Children will explore a variety of traditional clay handbuilding techniques to create kiln-fired masterpieces. Once their amazing creations are shaped, they'll choose their favorite glazes to bring their projects to life. Join us for this exciting creative experience!

Teen Clay Class
Explore the world of ceramics in our 3-week hands-on clay class! Teens will apply skills like slab building, and coil construction to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Throughout the process, they will experiment with different textures, forms, and surface treatments, while refining their understanding of balance, proportion, and design principles. Once their creations are shaped, students will explore various glazing techniques, learning about the chemical properties of ceramics and how the firing process transforms their work.

Working with clay provides teens with a calming, creative outlet for emotional expression. The process helps reduce stress and encourages mindfulness, while also building confidence through problem-solving and personal accomplishment. Creating art in a supportive group setting fosters connection and a sense of belonging, offering a gentle way to explore and express emotions.
