Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Spring Art Club

In this class, our Petite Artists will engage in a variety of projects focusing on exploration and designed to foster a love for the creative process. These exploratory lessons are inspired by nature, books, and art history and will empower students with opportunities to make unique choices in their artwork. Learn and experience how artists work together, care for materials, and find their own paths of explorative art-making!

Exciting news! We’re expanding this session to welcome incoming Kindergarteners. If your child is starting Kindergarten this September and loves art, they’re invited to join our Wednesday afternoon Spring Art Club for a season of creativity and fun!

3rd - 5th Grade Spring Art Club

How do artists use the world around them to inspire and create their artwork? Join us in the studio to discover a wide range of art-making techniques and creative opportunities to enrich artistic development. In the studio, Petite artists are inspired to reflect on their own experiences, observations, and interests and use their creative processes to turn their unique ideas visual. Techniques will be demonstrated during class, and Petite Artists are always encouraged to further experiment with a range of materials to express their ideas!

Clay Club:

Clay Club: Weather Mobiles

Get ready for a creative adventure in our 3-week hands-on pottery class as we sculpt, shape, and create beautiful weather-inspired mobiles! Children will explore a variety of traditional clay handbuilding techniques to create kiln-fired clay pieces. Once their amazing creations are shaped, they'll choose their favorite glazes to bring their projects to life. Join us for this exciting creative experience!

The Benefits of Clay for Young Children
Engaging with clay offers children a rich learning experience that enhances fine motor skills, stimulates sensory development, and cultivates creativity, critical thinking, and spatial reasoning, while also encouraging emotional expression and self-confidence as they transform raw material into kiln-fired, tangible works of art.
